The time has come. All the things we’ve done over the years, coming together under one banner to celebrate the games we play, the community and friendships we’ve gained along the way. Two days of games, vendors, food and friends. January 27/28th is fast approaching and we couldn’t be more excited for it. Just remember, it’s free to attend and hangout. Events require a badge, and badge holders get priority for all open play gaming space.
Saturday will be the return of NEMO (The New England Mordheim Open) as well as open play tables all throughout the afternoon into the evening. This year we will be doing 3 rounds of narrative play. Tables will remain up after the event, allowing everyone to continue the campaign through the remainder of the weekend. Taking us through the day we’ll be having some special guests doing musical performances to help set the tone, with something a little heavier to close the night out. More on that will be released in time.
Sunday we will have the MTG Commander Community Chiller, a Magic the Gathering event geared towards diverse gameplay and fun rather than CEDH level play. Along with that we have a Marvel Crisis Protocol tournament, as well as the return of the King of the Kitbash. A kit-bashing contest, where contestants take to the bits boxes and build the best model they can.
As of right now NEMO spots have been filled by the previous supporters of the event and Hive Scum Patreon members. We are actively looking into opening up more spots and being able to host more players. We will give a heads up if more tickets are to become available.
Tickets go live, tomorrow at 12:00 noon EST. Tickets can be purchased here. Again, it’s free to attend and hangout. Badges are only required to sign up for events, and priority to the open gaming tables!
If you’re interested in being a vendor, you can reach us via the contact form on the main page, or email underthedice@gmail.com with the subject “VENDOR”.
Thats all for now. We will continue to update here on the blog as information comes.
xoxo
