Hey everyone, it’s been a while. Updating the blog is something I think about a lot, but never take the time to do. So this will be a long update of what’s been going on and what’s coming up!

First thing’s first, a couple announcements; 

+ NEW ISSUE OF UNDER THE DICE IS OFFICIALLY OUT. I put the magazine and some new items on the webstore. 

+ New Flames of Orion Supplement is about to drop. It’s intended to be used in games of 3 players with one player taking on the roll of an Armor Hunter. A single infantry unit causing chaos in a battle between mechs.

+ DISCOUNT on first print run lemon copies of Flames (the original run that had a slightly lower quality and minor typos) for those on a budget. And any webstore order of $50 worth of items or more will get a free copy as well. Orders likely wont ship til the end of March due to how busy I am with con prep, but you can get everything in the store (AND MORE) all in person at Adepticon or Braindead Fantasy Fest.

+ Overall the whole webstore was updated. I will be taking the webstore down on Sunday 3/22 due to packing up for adcon and not causing any issues with stock. If you want anything come see me at Adepticon or Braindead.

Speaking of Adepticon, it’s less than 2 weeks away! And it is CRUNCH time. I’m typing this while I have one of the new Flames of Orion supplements tabbed in the background on my computer, and arrange for last minute merch orders. I’ll be in the vendor hall again this year in booth 808. You’ll be able to find UTD, Hive Scum, IRWT, Smashbash, and more at the booth. I’ll be running some bootleg Space Hulk games using OPR Star Quest throughout the week, as well as Bro Pro II with the rest of the Hive Scum boys. Feel free to come check out Space Hulk when we are playing (Thursday & Saturday seem the likely evenings of play), but Bro Pro will be on lockdown due to preserving the space for the event.

There’s a bunch of stuff in the space this year, including the Bits Swap on Friday evening. Be sure to come down to the Grimdark Hallway and check out everything!

April has a few things in store.

First, Hive Scum / UTD will be at Braindead Fest with a booth. Gage will be hosting a panel and there’s talk of a Flames of Orion tournament… Keep your eyes peeled.

Then April 18th I’ll be at OSR CON in Chelmsford, MA with Arcane Bryan! A new convention for OSR games.

And finally, I’ll be heading back to England for Necroplis28 event hosted by Harry @oldworldpaintedblood for the Siege of Crymlan Keep. A full day of gaming in an actual castle. Should be a great trip!

Enough about all dat.

In other news; Under the Dice 7 dropping has been really huge to keep me from sinking into the worst hobby funk of my life. The new issue looks incredible and I am stoked to do issue 8. So excited I’ve started gathering idea for next issue and I’ll be putting a post up in the next month or so looking for submissions to a few of the articles.

CALL OF THE CROWN 6
I’ve started working on the Call of The Crown 6 challenge (6 months late, but only because I didn’t know it existed until I saw Timeless Tabletop Games Youtube video about it. I’m slowly putting together Dwarves. I have (nearly) finished painting 1 Dwarf. My plan is to paint 5 Slayers & a Runepriest. I pretty much solely play OPR Regiments for rank and file, so that is what I’m building the army for, instead of 5th edition.

Note: The Next COTC challenge begins in October!

LAN PARTY
I’ve also been busy revisiting some childhood nostalgia in the form of lan party at my house. 16 + CRT TV’s and old 360’s with a bunch of friends. A night to live on forever thanks to Phil who flew out for the event! Phil is working on documenting lan parties all across the country. Here’s a clip from the night that Phil threw together for us.
