A Miniatures Competition

Welcome to the Rusted Demon—our first-ever miniatures modeling competition! We’re excited to see your creativity and craftsmanship in action. Below are the rules and guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for all participants.

General Rules

Kitbashing Encouraged

Creativity is key! In the spirit of the competition, we highly encourage kitbashing and custom modeling.

Modeling Over Painting

Models must be painted. While a great paint job will be taken into consideration, this competition focuses on modeling. We’re not looking for a 400+ hour paint job—it’s about the whole picture!

Fair & Creative Judging

Judging will be conducted with fairness and integrity, celebrating out-of-the-box thinking and originality. All entries will be presented anonymously to the judges so as not to be influenced by names.

Handling Notice

Your model will be handled by multiple people during judging and display. If anything is especially fragile, breakable, or tippable, please let us know upon submission. By entering you acknowledge the staff is not responsible for any mishaps that may incur during judging or handling.

Rule Adjustments

This is our first time running this event, so bear with us and remember, in the end it’s all to build our community!

Additional Notes:

Squads: A max of 5 models can be entered as a squad, but they will still compete in the Small category.
Entry Limit: 1 entry per category, per person.
